John is retired after serving as a Marine air traffic controller, and today he pours that same focus and care into his work as a luthier and woodturner. When he’s not in his shop, you’ll likely find him making music with the Rocky Branch Mountain Music Group.
John also creates the beloved (and humorously named) “toothless speakers”—hand-turned wooden phone amplifiers that require no cords, no power, and no tech wizardry.
