Yin Yoga
This deeply restorative class focuses on long, slow holds of four to seven minutes per posture. Yin yoga encourages stillness, introspection, and deep release, helping improve joint mobility and circulation while calming the nervous system. This is an ideal class for stress relief, recovery, and emotional balance.
Yoga Nidra
A guided meditation that ushers the body into deep states of relaxation. Known as "psychic sleep" or "alert rest," this type of meditation journeys into the mysterious realm lying between the conscious and dream state. This liminal space or hypnagogic state enables us to effortlessly harness the restorative power of delta brain waves which are typically found in deep, restful sleep. Regular practice of this ancient art contributes to a sense of inner peace and increased mental and physical well being.
Gatherings & Workshops
Beyond the Mat: Deepening Your Understanding of Yoga
A one-hour, reflective offering where students explore the full depth of yoga beyond the physical practice. Bring your journal and dive into the eight limbs of yoga, including the yamas and niyamas, pranayama, meditation, and more. Together, we explore the rich history and philosophy of yoga, discussing how to embody yoga as a way of life rather than simply a series of poses. This class is designed to help you truly evolve as a yogi, cultivating awareness, intention, and a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.
downtempo:Biodynamic Group Session
In our spacious 2-hour group session, participants will move between sitting in meditation/quiet stillness, reposing in comfortable supportive “nests” of their own making on the floor, and lying on massage tables. In this biodynamic open session format, contact may be made with participants on the tables as moved by the greater field. The “work” is being worked through all present, whether or not touch contacts are made directly. We are in a group field that is informed by our presence.
