About Judy
I am a life-long learner and a believer in the importance of trying new things. In the fall of 2024, I graduated from a 200-hour yoga teacher training program and loved the challenge of taking yoga to a deeper level. I've been taking harp lessons for more than two years and now have an opportunity to provide a harp-centered guided relaxation class. I am also the founder of East Tennessee Tarot, a tarot club open to all interested individuals who wish to pursue tarot as a means to dive deeper into mysticism and spiritual discovery. I am also a licensed professional counselor specializing in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorders, skin picking and hair pulling behaviors.
Classes Offered:
Guided Meditation with Harp
The class, "Guided Meditation with Harp" is offered with the intention of providing a quiet place to pause, reconnect with a deeper sense of self, and come away refreshed and ready to look at life from a fresh perspective. Guided Meditation with Harp provides a 45-minute respite from an overcrowded central nervous system and a worried mind. Come find your inner peace and quiet. I hope to see you here.
East TN Tarot
East Tennessee Tarot is a local group founded in January 2025 to offer a fun and informative place for individuals to bring curiosity and a desire to learn about the world of tarot. Its a community driven space where anyone who shows up is a co-creator and co-learner. No prior experience or knowledge of tarot is necessary. A fundamental value of our tarot club is that it's really welcoming and open to beginners. There is safety, inclusivity and zero expectations to "know" what any of the cards mean. If you've always wanted to learn more, this is your chance to explore and find out what you've been missing. We meet once a month on the second Saturday of every month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. here at the Community Yoga Center. Join us for a safe place to simply connect, practice and learn from each other. There are no fees for attending and everyone is welcome.
For those interested in practicing their reading skills, club members have the opportunity to meet on the fourth Saturday of the month to do free readings at the Sacred Owl and Salt room in Knoxville, TN from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Lots of people feel that the purpose of tarot is to "tell the future". Tarot exists with the potential to be used in many ways and with the right guidance, it can be an incredibly supportive tool. Our mission is to open people's minds to the potential of tarot and to encourage people to not be afraid to simply sit with the cards and trust their own feelings, reactions and interpretations as opposed to reaching straight for a guidebook. It's all about learning to trust yourself. It's not uncommon to find new arrivals shy and nervous, but leaving relaxed, laughing and with a bunch of new friends.
No deck? No problem! Our club has been gifted with an inventory of decks just looking for a new home. Before you buy a new deck, come check us out and see what we have to offer. Who knows? You may adopt a new deck, take it home and learn to love it! We are always open to donations if you happen to have an old deck you no longer need.

You are here to enable the divine purpose of the universe to unfold. That is how important you are!
