About Ashley

Ashley Abbott is a yoga instructor and intuitive energy worker who teaches yoga as both movement and medicine. Her classes are grounding, soulful, and intentionally slow — woven with trauma-informed language and somatic awareness to help students feel safe in their bodies and connected to their inner knowing.

Ashley’s teaching honors the body as a living story: a place where breath, emotion, intuition, and memory meet. Through gentle strength-building, chakra-inspired intention, and meditative storytelling, she creates space for students to soften, release, and remember who they are beneath life’s noise.

As the founder of Starling & Sparrow Healing Arts, Ashley blends spiritual insight with accessible, functional movement, offering classes that welcome every body and every season of life. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and inclusive, inviting students to explore practice at their own pace and in their own way.

She is honored to share this work with the Blount County community through the CYC collective, holding space for connection, healing, and embodied sovereignty.
