About Amy:
Amy comes from an education background of classroom instruction in information science and currently works at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the research enterprise within the integrated sciences. Though new to teaching yoga, Amy instructed fitness classes way back in the 90's from The Bubble at The University of Tennessee, Downtown YMCA, to local Maryville gyms and has always prioritized the mind, body, spirit connection in her daily life. Amy will offer an occasional specialty class and hopes to share her love of movement with the community.
Level 2 Vinyasa
This 60-minute class includes dynamic flow and artfully blends mindful movement with natural element-inspired asanas and dynamic sequencing designed to challenge your strength, flexibility, and balance, fostering a profound mind-body connection. We will end with restorative poses and a guided mindfulness to set an intention and connect.
